Three things a retailer growth program must do for a small counter

Retailers hear the phrase “growth program” often enough to be wary of it. Most of them mean a poster and a promise. A retailer growth program that actually grows a counter does three small things reliably: it pays on ordinary stock, it gives the counter a reason to talk to customers, and it makes the return visible before the month is out.

1. It pays on the stock you already sell

A small hardware or electrical shop cannot change its range to chase a scheme. The programme has to fit the shelf as it is. Saathi Samreedhi attaches a coupon to every participating TMT Plus pack, so the ordinary weekly sale of conduit, boxes or pipe carries a return for the shop without any change in buying.

2. It gives you a sentence for the till

“There is a coupon in the pack – scan it in the app.” That is the entire pitch, and it works because the customer earns too. A fitter who registers at your counter comes back to your counter. One clear card near the till and one sentence at handover outperform any amount of signage. The dealer success program page covers the habits in more detail.

3. It shows the return this month, not next year

Points post the moment a code is accepted. Point history filters by month. A retailer can look at the end of the month and see which lines earned, which is a reorder guide the shop did not have to write.

What a counter can realistically redeem

Smaller, sooner redemptions keep the habit going. A smart watch, headphones or a Bluetooth speaker sit at 2,500 points; a drill with toolkit at 5,000; cash credit to the shop’s account from 250. The two-wheelers at 60,000 and 70,000 are real, but a counter that redeems little and often tends to reach them anyway. The rewards page has every value.
